If you become sick or are injured in Mauritius, you should seek medical attention. We have a panel of medical and dental practitioners whom you can contact in sickness or injury.

The Administration tries to ensure that all practitioners on the medical and dental panel are registered to practise and are suitably qualified.  However, the FCO cannot accept any legal liability in this regard.  Any complaint should be made to the Management Officer who will consider whether that person should remain on the panel, consulting the FCO Medical Adviser if necessary.
